“Flight” is inspired most by Piano Concerto No. 5 in F Major, Op. 103 “Egyptian”. The imagery of a butterfly taking flight is inspired by the amazing Piano parts of the piece. Very quick, light, and fluttery. The Canton Symphony Orchestra creates an ethereal atmosphere, with each crescendo and decrescendo breathing life into the music. My ears tracked the music as it moved through the orchestra, the melodic sounds carrying me along.
